Utah Business Innovation Award 1st Place

i5 Technologies Takes 1st Place in Utah Business's 2026 Innovation Awards

i5 Technologies was named the 1st place honoree in the Industrial Manufacturing, Materials & Construction Tech category of Utah Business's 2026 Innovation Awards for its Reconfigurable Antenna Array Technology. The technology lets a single antenna dynamically adjust its radiation pattern shape, polarization and frequency band — delivering 6–10 dB higher array gain than traditional phased array antennas while reducing the size, cost and power consumption needed for 6G infrastructure.

NSF SBIR Phase I & II Awarded Technology

i5's MRA and MRA array technologies have been recognized through consecutive NSF SBIR awards as a leading approach to 5G/6G and beyond antenna design. SBIR Phase I funded Multifunctional Reconfigurable Antenna development for 5G small cells; Phase II extended this into multifunctional array technology.
