Our Mission

Overcoming the limits of legacy antennas.

i5 Technologies designs and develops smart antenna systems for next generation wireless communications platforms. Our innovative Multifunctional Reconfigurable Antenna (MRA) technology overcomes the challenges of legacy systems and delivers significant performance gains with reduced cost and space efficiency.

i5 MRAs are capable of dynamically adapting frequency, radiation pattern and polarization based on the requirements of the environment and the communication network — turning a single antenna into many.

Bedri A. Cetiner

Founder, CEO & President — Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Utah State University

Cetiner invented i5's core Multifunctional Reconfigurable Antenna technology and founded i5 Technologies in 2014 as a USU spinoff to commercialize it. He continues to lead the company's research while teaching at USU, where graduate students from his lab contribute to the technology and some join i5 after completing their studies.

"Seeing the reward for that hard work in the form of a real-life product is an amazing experience." — Bedri Cetiner

i5's engineering team includes graduate researchers and alumni from Cetiner's USU lab. Individual profiles for the wider team aren't public yet — add names, titles and headshots here as they become available.
